For those seeking a more active holiday, there are many hiking trails and places to swim in the clear waters. One of the best things to do is explore some of the smaller cliffs. I personally enjoyed walking around these rocky spots, swimming in the warm water and finding private spots to enjoy my lunch or dinner at the famous Venetsanos taverna.
If you’re visiting during summer, make sure to book your accommodation in advance, as most hotels get fully booked quickly. It’s also a good idea to bring some sun lotion, as the hot temperatures can take their toll on your skin.
