The quaint limestone island of Kastellorizo, also known as Megisti, rose to fame in 1991 after the war comedy-drama film ‘Mediterraneo’ was shot there. Despite its modest size, it packs in more personality than many larger Greek islands.
The island’s small museum, housed in an old mosque, offers an insight into its rich past. There are some fascinating artifacts and old photos to be discovered.

It is decorated with Moroccan lattice candles and curved archways, plush cushions and bold mustard yellow walls. The bar also hosts a range of special events such as the Moonlight Invasion and Valentine’s Day Bachelor Auction.
The new mini Kazbars are a combination of a snack cake and candy bar and come in three flavors including Triple Chocolate, Chocolate Caramel and Vanilla Caramel. Each bar contains six layers of soft and crunchy goodness including chocolate, creme and candy crunch. Each individually-wrapped bar has 150 calories, which is about as much as a Twinkie. The bars will be available in convenience and grocery stores.
Mythos Bar
Mythos Restaurant serves a full menu of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. This restaurant has a classic ambiance and is ideal for dining with family and friends. It offers a range of dishes, including keftedes, octopus, and lamb. The restaurant also has vegetarian dishes, such as moussaka and stuffed vegetables. It is an excellent option for anyone looking for a Greek meal near downtown Buffalo.

Meltemi Bar, located at the entrance of the hotel under a bougainvillea-covered pathway, is one of Perissa’s friendliest cocktail bars and offers a terrific menu. You’ll also find a wide selection of Greek and Mediterranean dishes as well as perfectly cooked burgers.
A family-run tavern with indoor and outdoor seating, this busy spot is open all day serving up traditional Greek dishes with that homemade flavor. You can order from the menu or go for a full meal that includes raki and local wines.
A lovely little beach bar with a great lunch menu including vegetarian options and a solid breakfast buffet. The ambiance is very laid back and they have live music most evenings. The drinks are priced reasonably and they serve a decent selection of Greek beers. The staff here speak English and are very friendly. It’s a popular place with both tourists and locals. A little off the beaten path but worth checking out.
Radio Cafe
This restaurant is located near Yankee Stadium and Columbia University, and offers a bar/lounge and a grab-and-go cafe. Guests can enjoy dinner at Jalao, a restaurant on the premises. There is also a 24-hour fitness center, providing an ideal option for a quick workout.
LGO Hospitality renamed its Radio Milano to Radio Cafe, and the menu has changed, too, with sushi now joining old standbys like deviled eggs and celery Caesar. The new eatery is also adding an outdoor gazebo, creating an attractive spot for weekend wine country visitors to dine and picnic. The gazebo will have a limited cafe menu that can be ordered and enjoyed on a blanket or chair in the vineyard setting. Guests can bring their own wine as well.
